If you miss the feeling of hearing Brazilian music with context, warmth and intention, this is worth knowing about. Back in Brazil is a weekly radio show hosted by Pablo Nacer, fully dedicated to Brazilian music, with episodes that feel themed and carefully curated.
I like to think I know a fair bit about Brazilian music, but more times than I’d like to admit, I’ve caught myself looking up songs Pablo carefully unearthed for the show. That’s part of what makes it special. It’s not just a playlist.
Pablo often plays a few tracks, then shares the story behind the artist, album or moment, making Tuesday nights after work feel lighter. INBRAZA brings Funk Parade to Melbourne
INBRAZA returns to Melbourne this Saturday with Funk Parade 2026, bringing a new chapter for the party and a night built for a bigger, bolder baile experience. The event brings ADAME DJ, MANSA, MAZ, Dijok Mike, The Prodigy and Karani.
There’s also a Vogue Battle comp on the night with a JD Sports voucher plus $100 prize. And if you’re in Sydney, the next Funk Parade 2026 lands at Room 22 Potts Point on Saturday, 21 March at 10:00pm.

Capoeira Angola in honour of women
A special community gathering is happening in Darlington NSW this Saturday, celebrating the strength, resilience and creativity of women in Capoeira Angola. Held by ECAMAR Capoeira Angola Sydney in honour of International Women’s Day, Angola Força Divina brings together movement, music and Afro-Brazilian culture in a warm, welcoming setting.
The program includes a beginner-friendly Capoeira Angola class with Treinela Evelyn, a Samba workshop with Laísa Forquim, a traditional roda de Capoeira Angola and space for community connection.
